About Us

Our skilled technicians perform on-site and lab calibration service, instrument repair, and metrology database management. Our calibration lab, located in Gaithersburg, MD  (just outside Washington, D.C.) upholds rigorous internal and external quality checks to comply with industry standards, plus equipment calibrations and repairs that follow manufacturer specifications, to ensure that our customers have reliable, repeatable, audit proof measurement capabilities.

Calibration Capabilities

From electronic and RF/microwave, to physical, dimensional, and frequency, all of our calibrations are based on those used by the U.S. National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) to ensure accuracy. Our lab follows ISO IEC 17025:2017 standards and has rigorous inspections and audits performed yearly.

Equipment Repair Services

Tra-Cal has a comprehensive repair capability and extensive stock of spare parts necessary for the repair of over 100 test equipment manufacturers including Keysight, Tektronix, Boonton, Fluke and more. All equipment is supported including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, counters, power supplies, power meters and most other equipment.
